About Us

PPS/Zip Print is a small but busy print shop focused on quality work, fast turnaround, and teamwork. We are seeking a detail-oriented Graphic Designer who can create effective print designs while preparing files accurately for production and mailing. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and able to develop personalized solutions for each client while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.  We love it when our designers are able to think outside of the box and aren’t afraid to try new ideas that elevate our company and our clients.

Essential Responsibilities

• Design print and direct mail materials such as postcards, flyers, brochures, letters, and marketing collateral

• Develop creative solutions tailored to each client’s specific goals and messaging

• Prepare accurate, print-ready artwork that meets production and postal requirements

• Attention to detail and knowledge of typography, layout, color and graphic design principles are critical

• Review and proof designs carefully to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency

• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to refine designs and solve project challenges

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

• Maintain organized project files and templates

• Assist with prepress setup and production preparation when needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in design or similar field

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)

• Experience working in Mac OS

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Ability to create customized design solutions based on client needs

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements

• Ability to manage multiple jobs and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment

• Solid understanding of print design, layout, bleed, margins, and color formats

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• 1–3 years of graphic design experience preferred (print production environment is a plus)

• Physical or online portfolio to show experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for print shops or print production workflows

• Familiarity with direct mail formats and postal guidelines

• Experience working with variable data or personalized print campaigns

• Knowledgeable in variable data (knowledge of XMPie is a plus)

• Experience in creating direct mail pieces

• Experience in Marketing/Brand development

• Create and maintain a marketing schedule

• Social media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Meta Ad Manager)

• Create marketing pieces (direct mail, flyers, postcards, signage, etc.)
