About Us
PPS/Zip Print is a small but busy print shop focused on quality work, fast turnaround, and teamwork. We are looking for a dependable Bindery / Finishing Associate who takes pride in precise work and is willing to jump in wherever help is needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
What You’ll Do
• Perform bindery and finishing tasks including: ο Cutting (guillotine and/or digital cutters)
ο Folding
ο Binding (coil, comb, wire, saddle stitch, perfect bind)
ο Packaging and shipping
• Check finished jobs for accuracy and quality
• Package completed jobs for pickup or delivery
• Assist in other areas of the print shop (digital press, prepress, production, or shipping) when bindery work is slow
• Keep bindery equipment clean, organized, and well maintained
• Follow job tickets and production schedules to meet deadlines
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in bindery or print shop is preferred (will train the right person)
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple jobs
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting paper/materials
• Willingness to help in other areas as needed
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
• Experience with print shop cutters and finishing equipment
• General print shop or production experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Customer service experience

Digital Print Room Operator

PPS/Zip Print is a small, fast-paced print shop that takes pride in quality work, quick turnarounds, and great customer service. We are looking for a reliable Digital Print Room Operator who enjoys hands-on production work and takes ownership of their output.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
What You’ll Do
• Operate and maintain digital printing equipment (e.g., Xerox, Kyocera, Ricoh etc.)
• Prepare print jobs from supplied files (basic prepress checks, layout adjustments, imposition)
• Run jobs accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines
• Monitor print quality and color consistency
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Keep the print room organized and stocked
• Communicate with team members about job status and priorities
What We’re Looking For
• Experience operating digital production printers (print shop experience strongly preferred)
• Basic understanding of print files, formats, and workflows
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting materials
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
• Experience with Fiery RIPs or similar software
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Creative Suite
• Finishing or bindery experience
• Customer service experience in a print environment
